Our History
In 1975, Sinkler Optical opened in the southside shopping center on university drive in Fargo, ND. Doug Stavenger began working for Sinkler in 1985. Doris Crocker joined Sinkler Optical's team in 1999. In 2006, Sinkler Optical was purchased by Doug and it became Doug's Optical. In 2019, Doris Crocker purchased Doug's Optical from Doug Stavenger. Doug will continue to work for Doug's Optical for many years to come. Doris Crocker and Doug Stavenger are highly experienced opticians with over 60 years combined experience in the optical field!
